Yum! When you’re looking for a place to have lunch in the area, don’t forget about The Golf Club at Newcastle and the Calcuta Grill. I had the tastiest lunch the other day with Catering Manger Kimberly Pazaski. I just had to take pictures of these.
The Wilted Spinach Salad, Smoked Salmon and Corn Chowder, and the ever-popular Calcutta Burger with Smoked Gouda and Peppered Bacon. Check out the Lunch Menu here !

The Patio at the Calcutta Grill is open and you can assume that it will be open every sunny day or evening for the remainder of the spring and summer. Call to be sure, but you will enjoy the best views on the eastside and probably meet a few of your neighbors! I’m hungry ….

Here’s a great way to kick off the holiday season. Have Brunch with Dasher and two elves this Sunday at Newcastle Golf Club’s Calcutta Grill. The Reindeer will be joining you to celebrate the season from 11am-1pm. I personaly, am looking forward to seeing a Reindeer up close. 
This Reindeer is from the Reindeer Festival at Cougar Mountain Zoo so if you and your family aren’t able to make it to brunch, you have until Dec. 23rd to visit them at the Cougar Mountain Zoo.

The Golf Club at Newcastle is a great place to spend a few cozy hours. Newcastle’s Calcutta Grill and the Wooly Toad have a fantastic Happy Hour M-F from 4-6 pm.

If you live in Newcastle, and even if you don’t, you’ve probably been to The Golf Club at Newcastle. These beautiful photos are just a reminder to you to go back up before the summer is over and enjoy the eastside’s most famous view. By the way, the Calcutta Grill has a fantastic happy hour M-F with mouthwatering appetizers (that are really a meal!) and drink specials too.
Yes, you can play here too! It’s not a private course like many people think. You can go up for just the the putting course, or hit a large bucket of balls at the driving range for only $10 before or after happy hour!
